How being a “Cedar of Lebanon” can help you in your sickness or diseases

If a sickness or disease of some sort raises itself against you; or if someone says this ailment is going to manifest in you; or this sign or a symptom of a sickness is seen what do you do?  Do you accept these pronouncements or do you accept the pronouncement of God?  God states that you are flourishing, fruitful, fresh and green even into old age!  God does not care what symptoms there may be in you, He says you are like a cedar in Lebanon: majestic, strong, perfumed.  Do you believe God or your symptoms?

Psalm 92:
12 The righteous will flourish like a palm tree,
they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon;
13 planted in the house of the LORD,
they will flourish in the courts of our God.
14 They will still bear fruit in old age,
they will stay fresh and green,
15 proclaiming, “The LORD is upright;
he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him.”

So how do we receive this pronouncement of God in spite of our circumstances?  But we weak, weary and faint you say.  Isaiah 40 says if you ‘wait’ on the Lord your strength is renewed and you will not faint.  Wait in Hebrew is qavah which means the intertwining like a rope.  It doesn’t mean we sit around and wait but we actively intertwine and bind together with God.

Isa 40:
He gives power to the weak,
And to those who have no might He increases strength.
30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary,
And the young men shall utterly fall,
31 But those who wait on the LORD
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint

The question is how to be intertwined with God?  We will let the Bible interprets Bible.  Stay tuned for my next email.

God Bless
